Registered names expire at the close of the calendar year in which the application was filed.

Notes:

File a renewal between October 1st and December 31st to extend your name registration for another year.

Florida Name Reservation

$25 for LLCs, $35 for corporations, and $52.50 for Limited Partnerships

Notes:

  • There is no form, instead send a letter, executed by the applicant, specifying the name to be reserved and the name and address of the applicant to the Secretary of State.
  • Names are reserved for 120 days.
