Top 5 Tips on Registering a Business in Oregon
- When filing with he Oregon Secretary of State, typed documents receive priority over handwritten documents.
- Oregon is affordable. The formation fee for an LLC or corporation is only $100 paid to the Oregon Secretary of State.
- Your LLC or corporate business name must include a corporate suffix.
- Oregon does not have a general application to register your business for all state taxes. Apply for the individual tax accounts / licenses / permits required with the Oregon Department of Revenue.
