Insurance Requirements:

  • Electrical contractors must have general liability insurance in the following amounts: at least $300,000 per occurance (combined for property damage and bodily injury); at least $600,000 aggregate (total amount paid for property damage and bodily injury); and at least $300,000 aggregate for products and completed operations.
  • Contractors with employees must also submit proof of having either workers' compensation insurance or self-insurance.
